spring is coming! this was one of those days we were just hanging out playing. emily has figured out how to swing on a "big swing" and henry was being a ham for the camera..
Easter was fun this year.. the weather was pretty good, albeit chilly, the easter bunny brought bikes for the kids...it was nice enough to play a little football in the yard after lunch.

How can this be my baby? emily has grown so much I just cant believe it.
here we are preparing the eggs to color tonight.. hopefully when we get home from swimming today we can have fun coloring.. for the last two years Henry has crushed all the easter eggs and rendered them useless for the hunt. thank goodness for the plastic eggs.
four years ago Henry decided it it was time to make an appearance, almost six weeks early. As I was walking out of courtroom 6, my water broke and I hid in the bathroom until Andy came. He was breach so the c section was fast. I was checked into the hospital at 5:30 and done with recovery by 7:30. Henry had to stay at the NICU for about two weeks and we were able to take him home on valentines day. Little did I know just two years later at the exact time I would be there with Emily! Today Henry is in perfect health. The picture with the goggles on are when he had to go under the billy ruben light. After the ventitlater, he was put on a c-pap machine. similar to people with sleep apnea. I thought he looked like he was snorkeling, alas the nickname "the snork" was born!
Henry turned four yesterday! I cant believe it. He has moved from the baby toys to the little boy toys. Spiderman and Batman are the theme this year. I even had to make him a spiderman cake! last week he told me when he turned four he would get a shirt with a four on it. I'm so glad he mentioned it! I've tried to include a picture from the last four years.. hopefully it posts right!
Christmas was a hit this year for the kids. Lucky for us they haven't realized they can wake up early.. Henry got the hang of unwrapping the presents. Emily was gracious enough to let him "help"

Three of their most favorite things... Playing in the crib, playing under the crib, and riding in the laundry bucket
So I finally caved, my resistance failed me, and my husband bought 40 head of cattle. We are now in the cattle business. What happened to my law degree? I swear I have a piece of paper around here somewhere...... Last week we had to "work" the cattle and wean the babies. One of the cowboys who came to help us asked me ..."You a farm raised girl?" Andy thinks my new name is "farm raised".
