date night

Andy took emily on a date... he asked her what she wanted to do and she responded.."get a haircut" so he took her to J.C. Penny's and had her first hair day.. I was impressed when they got home. I can barely brush her hair without tears, I was impressed at the braids!

Priest Lake!

Every august we spend a couple of days in priest lake idaho at my grandparents house. Although its quite a trek to get up there.. it's worth it once we put our feet on the sand.

All I can say about july is Whew! Caroline was getting bigger, the days were getting hotter and we were finding whatever we could do to stay cool and have fun..

Fishing

The fish and game had childrens fishing day's all over southern idaho.. We went to fairfield (when caroline was a month old!) and tried to take the kids fishing. it was an adventure. they loved the worms the most!

Caroline Scarlett Wright

On May 26th, we welcomed Caroline Scarlett Wright to the family.. she is a wonderful baby. 8 lbs 8oz and 22 inches long. Emily and Henry love her so much.. she looks remarkably like emily as a baby.. if this goes right the top picture should be caroline (with the hat) and the second picture, emily (with the orange blanket behind her)

spring is coming! this was one of those days we were just hanging out playing. emily has figured out how to swing on a "big swing" and henry was being a ham for the camera..

Easter

 

 

 

 

Easter was fun this year.. the weather was pretty good, albeit chilly, the easter bunny brought bikes for the kids...it was nice enough to play a little football in the yard after lunch.

 
How can this be my baby? emily has grown so much I just cant believe it.

CSI Museum...

yesterday we went to the museum for a change of pace... the kids thought it was SO SCARY!

here we are preparing the eggs to color tonight.. hopefully when we get home from swimming today we can have fun coloring.. for the last two years Henry has crushed all the easter eggs and rendered them useless for the hunt. thank goodness for the plastic eggs.

spring is here!

Yesterday was 71 and perfect... a great day to go to the park and wear tshirts.. we were teased by mother nature.
