Say Cheese!

I was cooking dinner tonight and I had left some cream cheese on the counter. Emily asked if she could put it in her mouth. I said yes, just not in your nose. I swear I turned for only a minute, turned back and found emily covered in cream cheese.

Fall is here!

The kids and I went to the College of Southern Idaho to take pictures in the fall leaves. CSI is a fantastic school and I'm grateful it's here.

Halloween!

Halloween!

Each year Halloween is more fun! Henry was spiderman and Emily was a lion. She "roared" all night. They loved going house to house. Even more fun for them was dispensing the candy at the door. Henry and Emily's cousins James and Adam were especially adorable. Adam was the pumpkin and was totally squeezable!

 

 

 

 

On Saturday the family went to Andy's parents ranch. Emily LOVES to walk with her hands in her pocket! And boys will be boys, of course Henry finds the biggest stick to carry on our walk. We stopped at a pond where Andy and the kids threw rocks.

Those long nights

 

 

 

 

When Andy works late we will do anything to entertain ourselves. I did my basic decorating for fall and the kids and I built a fort in the living room and had popsicles. It was a pretty fun way to kill an hour. I remember building elaborate forts with my little brother and sleeping in them. My kids help me to remember all that fun.

A day off

The kids and I decided we would just stay home. No gym, no park, no errands. we just played in my bed and took pictures. i dont believe we even got out of our jammies.

The annual family trip to Redfish! We camped this year in 22 degree weather. Yes, it was freezing! the kids had a fantastic time.

Our picnic down at Shoshone Falls. The kids played badmitton and had a great time. Henry loved to hit the birdie like a baseball.

Andy's family was in town from New Jersey. Emily had her first love, "Will" and asked for him all the time. The kids love when their cousin's are here!

 

 

 

 

I promised the kids some time at the city park. they had a great time.
